About Killarney Farm
Nestled in the hills above Killarney Lake and the Coeur d’Alene River valley, Killarney Farm is surrounded by the Panhandle National Forest of Northern Idaho.
Killarney Farm originated in 1986 when avid organic gardeners and homesteaders, Ellen and Paul, joined their efforts to begin market gardening on their 6+ acre farm. Certified Organic since 1991 (the first year of Idaho’s program), we grow vegetables, fruits, flowers, nuts and herbs. Killarney Farm is home to a flock of laying hens, a few hives of bees and a small herd of goats and sheep. Also, in an effort to mentor aspiring market gardeners, we host several interns each season.
We sell our produce at various outlets, including the Kootenai County Farmers’ Market, the roadside stand at the Rose Lake Junction, and to restaurants and stores in the Coeur d’Alene area.

We are founding members of the Kootenai County Farmers’ Market Association; Ellen has served on the board of directors for many years.

We are passionate about healthy eating and living and caring for our earth and sharing this passion with others.
