Shishito Pepper plant
Plants grow to 18" Tall, bushy plants. They are abundantly productive.
These small peppers are easy to cook, go with practically anything, have a great flavor and thin skin. though we have yet to encounter a spicy shishito, the pepper lore has it that the occasional fruit will display heat.
When eaten raw, they're crispy, and a little sweet. But, once cooked, they have a smokiness that is very flavorful. Use for roasting, pan frying, and grilling.
